How much does a fitness coaching API cost?

Short answer, September 2026: template generation without intelligence starts around $16 to $25 a month, infrastructure lanes run $191 to $499 a month, camera SDKs price per active user, the one full coaching engine besides ours is sales-gated with no public price, and building it yourself costs almost nothing in tokens and a lot in everything else. Wearable data pipeTerraFrom $399/mo on the annual plan ($499 monthly), 100,000 credits included, roughly 200 credits per active user per month, overage from $0.005 per credit.Normalized health and fitness data from 500+ wearables and apps, delivered by API and webhooks, plus derived scores.
Camera motion SDKSencyPer unique active user per month, pay as you go past 100 users; the published curve slides to roughly $0.10 per user at volume (August 2026 reading).Real-time on-device motion tracking for fitness and health: rep counting, form scoring during the movement, movement assessments.

The DIY column

And if you just call the model yourself?

Honest math, from our own measured runs, at public list rates of $2 in / $12 out per million tokens:

$0.013
raw inference for one copilot action planning (5,336 in / 228 out)
$0.028
raw inference for one magic import (text path) (2,855 in / 1,831 out)
2 to 5×
a fair markup reading of a managed layer against raw tokens, before counting the engineering you did not do
The 90%
contracts, validators, evals, migration watch: the part that costs quarters, itemized in build vs buy

We publish this table knowing what it shows: per raw call, doing it yourself is cheaper, and anyone who hides that is selling you something. The honest comparison is per shipped outcome. A brief that clears a production quality bar, holds its safety rules under model migrations, and comes with a benchmark you can audit is a different unit than a completion, and the gap between those two units is exactly what the benchmark page measures.

Pricing questions

The questions buyers actually ask.

Why credits instead of per-token pricing?

Because your finance team cannot forecast tokens and neither can we. A readiness brief is 3 credits whether the model needed a short or a long context that day; volatility in token consumption is our problem, not your invoice’s.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Paid tiers meter overage at a published per-credit rate that decreases with tier size; the sandbox stops hard instead of billing. Exact overage rates are on the pricing table.

Is there really a free way to evaluate this?

Yes: the sandbox tier includes 300 credits with no card, enough to test every endpoint against your real data shapes before a single pricing conversation.
